North Country Airport Funding
I secured nearly $6 million in grant funding for North Country airports, who have taken a financial hit as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Improving these facilities will allow NY-21 residents, as well as visitors, to have enhanced and safe travel opportunities.
JUSTICE Act
I cosponsored the JUSTICE Act, legislation to improve police-community relations, increase transparency and accountability, and improve officer training. I’m proud to support our brave law enforcement and will always fight to give them the resources they need to keep our communities safe.

Helping Small Businesses Reopen During COVID-19
I was proud to be a leading advocate for clarity and consistency in New York’s reopening policies, and I worked directly with many of our NY-21 small businesses to help provide them with the resources they needed to reopen as safely and swiftly as possible.
Supporting Seasonal Businesses & Local Jobs
I successfully fought to ensure that seasonal businesses were eligible for forgivable loans from the Paycheck Protection Program. Our North Country economy relies on our dedicated small businesses for good-paying jobs, and I will keep fighting to ensure that they receive the help that they need.
Delivering COVID-19 Recovery Funding to the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe
I secured $150,000 in COVID-19 recovery funding for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe community. This money will help to strengthen their economy and boost economic development. I will continue to fight for direct assistance for our North Country communities throughout this difficult time.

I advocated for farms and agribusinesses to be eligible for the Emergency Disaster Loan program.
COVID-19 Recovery Grants
